About Us.

Welcome to CNA Learning Hub, CNA Learning Hub offers in-person healthcare training programs

 

Established by Mirranda Brooks, a committed Certified Nursing Assistant, our program is tailored specifically by CNAs for CNAs.

 

Our dedication to nursing is reflected in our training, which provides the Certified Nursing Assistant training course in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Nebraska Department of Education and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Meet the Team

Mirranda Brooks, CNA - Administrator and Licensed supplemental instructor

Mirranda provides support to faculty and students.  She oversees the administrative processes, curriculum, and ensures that the school is in compliance with local, state, and federal education standards. Mirranda has been a CNA since 2017.  She is knowledgeable on all topics Nursing Assistants as she has worked in many different healthcare settings including home health, rehabilitation, long-term care, dementia care, and hospice.  Her knowledge and background makes her the perfect person to hold such a position. Lynae Brooks, RN - Licensed Instructor

Lynae is the epitome of a hardworking nurse. She started as a CNA in 2007 and worked her way to obtaining her associate's degree in nursing. In recent years, Lynae has worked as a charge nurse in critical care settings. Her passion for healthcare shines through her patient care and her dedication to making healthcare an all-around better place. Her leadership, organization, and communication skills make her the ideal person to serve as the Licensed Instructor for the organization. Licensed agent of CNA Learning Hub.

Nia Bickert, RN- Licensed instructor

Nia is a dedicated Instructor and nurse. Nia's hands on clinical experience and passion for continuing education makes her a perfect person to instruct the CNA course.

 Together, we are committed to improving patient outcomes and changing healthcare through education, one Nursing Assistant at a time. 

Odilia Underwood RN BSN, RN, NC-BC- Licensed Instructor 

Odilia has extensive experience in clinical care, nursing leadership, and holistic health education. She currently serves as an Assistant Director of Nursing in Iowa while completing her MSN in Healthcare Leadership at United States University.

Her diverse clinical background includes acute and long-term care, rehabilitation, oncology, med-surg, pediatrics, community health, urgent care, and nurse management. As a CNA Instructor, Odilia is dedicated to preparing confident, compassionate CNA's through structured, real-world instruction and a supportive coaching approach.

She is also a professional speaker in nursing leadership, holistic healing, and cannabis education and is proud to bring her experience and heart-centered teaching style to CNA Learning Hub, supporting healthcare teams across Nebraska and Iowa.

Jennifer Zink LPN- Licensed Instructor 

With six years of experience as a Director of Nursing in an Assisted Living setting, Jen brings strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a deep understanding of patient care to the classroom. Her background in home health provides valuable insight into in-home care, allowing students to learn both facility-based and individualized patient support. This combination of leadership and hands-on experience helps prepare students to confidently succeed in real-world healthcare settings.

Registering for classes

CNA Learning hub is currently offering a 76-hour CNA training course, including one hour of abuse/misappropriation training. The course follows an approved curriculum by the Department of Health and Human Services.  There is a non-refundable registration fee of $150 (which goes toward the total tuition cost).  Total cost of this 2-week long program is $650. 
 

To register, a student enrollment agreement form will be signed by the student and
school director. The student will receive a signed copy of this agreement and upon completion of the class, the student will be presented with a certification for the class itself. 

To complete certification, students will choose a state testing exam time and date. **State testing will be held at an on-site facility approved by Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Nebraska nurse aide state testing is divided into two portions. The written test is a series of written multiple-choice questions. The hands-on skilled test will evaluate the students’ abilities to perform essential CNA tasks.
This portion will be proctored by a licensed nurse making sure students are efficient in
doing the approved skills according to state standards.**

Payment methods

Students can pay tuition through a secure online portal using either a credit or debit card, or digital
wallet. Students are also able to pay tuition at the school's office using cash, checks, or card payments.
Checks must be payable to CNA Learning Hub. A copy of an itemized receipt will be provided to
students upon payment for tuition and fees. Receipts will show itemized descriptions regarding
date and time of the transaction, school name, item names or descriptions, total amount paid.

Refund policy 
 

1. Cancellation Within 72 Hours of Enrollment
Cancel within 72 hours of enrolling to receive a full refund of all payments made.

2. Cancellation After 72 Hours, But Before Classes or Materials Are Delivered
Cancel after 72 hours but before classes start or online materials are delivered to receive a full refund minus a $150 registration fee.

3. Cancellation After Classes Begin or Materials Are Delivered
If classes have started or course materials have been delivered, no refunds will be issued.

4. Emergency or Critical Situations
If you need to cancel due to an emergency or serious situation, contact the School Director with your reason and documentation. Refunds in these cases are reviewed on a case by case basis.

5. Books and Supplies
Once issued, books and supplies become the property of the student. Refunds for these are at the school’s discretion.

6. Misrepresentation or False Advertising
A full refund will be given if services are denied due to false advertising or misrepresentation by the school.

7. Admission Denial
If you are denied admission, you will receive a full refund.

8. Refund Processing Time
All refunds will be processed within 30 days of your official cancellation, drop date, or the last day of a leave of absence if you do not return

CNA training program

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program Overview- The CNA Learning Hub Certified Nursing Assistant program prepares students to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. Students learn essential skills including vital signs, patient hygiene, mobility assistance, infection control, and basic clinical procedures. 

CMA training program

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Program is a 40-hour training program designed to prepare students to safely administer medications under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. The program combines classroom instruction, hands-on skills labs, and competency-based evaluations to ensure students are prepared for employment and state certification.
